Bean Free Turkey Chili

1 lb. Organic Ground Turkey
1 Small Onion (Finely Chopped)
2 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
1 Celery Stalk (Finely Sliced)
1 Cup Butternut Squash (Cubed)
2 Cups Chicken Broth
1 Can Chopped Tomatoes

2 Tbsp. Tomato Paste (Sugar Free)
1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Tbsp. Chili Flakes
1 Tsp. Dried Oregano
1 Tsp. Ground Cumin
Sea Salt & Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Cilantro (Roughly Chopped)
1 Avocado (Peeled and Cubed)


Place a large pot on medium heat.  Add the olive oil and combine the onion, garlic, celery, butternut squash and spices. Sauté for a few minutes.

Add the remainder of ingredients (except the cilantro and avocado) stir and place the lid on pot. Reduce to a low simmer and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve with a sprinkling of cilantro and a ¼ slice of avocado.

(If using a slow cooker, set to high and cook for 4 hours).
