Beet Banana Brownies
2 Bananas (Ripe and Mashed)
2 Red Beets (Peeled and Cooked)
2 Eggs (Pasture Raised)
1/2 Cup Grass Fed Chocolate Whey
1/3 Cup Dark Chocolate (Roughly Chopped)
1/3 Cup Almond Flour
1/4 Cup Raw Walnuts (Roughly Chopped)
1/2 Cup Raw Cacao Powder (Unsweetened)
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
2 Tbsp. B Grade Maple Syrup
Preheat the oven at 325 degrees F. Grease an 8×8″ baking dish with coconut oil and place to one side.
Combine all the ingredients except the dark chocolate and walnuts in a food processor and mix until smooth. Manually stir in the dark chocolate and walnut pieces.
Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for approximately 40 minutes. Remove the dish and allow to cool before slicing 6 brownies and storing them in an airtight container in the fridge.
Tip: Opt for good quality, organic dark cacao when making desserts.
